I write stories with heart, the kind that make you smile, wonder, feel, and sometimes see the world a little differently.

I’ve been a lifelong lover of books, poetry, and theatre, and I write for children and young adults, blending imagination, humour, emotion, and the beautifully messy moments of growing up. Whether my characters are finding courage, asking big questions, making spectacular mistakes, or simply trying to find their place in the world, I always want there to be something meaningful at the heart of their stories.

I believe the best stories don’t need to lecture. They can gently open conversations, encourage empathy, and remind young readers that kindness, courage, friendship, and hope still matter.

Behind the pages, I genuinely love the process of bringing a story to life, although that process usually involves far too many notes, several abandoned ideas, plenty of coffee, and the occasional “Why did I think this was a good idea?” moment.

I also have a soft spot for animals, especially dogs, so it’s probably no surprise that four-legged characters have a habit of finding their way into my stories.

When I’m not writing, I’m balancing work and family life as a mom of two teenage daughters, who also happen to be my most trusted critics and very unofficial editorial team. They have a particular talent for letting me know when something is definitely not how a teenager would say it.

Above all, I hope to create stories that young readers enjoy today, remember tomorrow, and perhaps carry a little piece of with them as they grow.
